Our Guiding Principles

Our Guiding Principles

  • As individuals, we do not know everything. In our approach, we first seek to listen, learn, and collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to bring about tangible, most appropriate, and desirable outcomes for the communities we work with.

  • Our resources are limited and our time is finite. We cannot do everything; we focus on specific initiatives driven with a purpose to make most positive impact.

  • Our initiatives and projects may fail; we accept failure as a part of the learning process. We will remain positive, learn swiftly, and share lessons learned for others to help us to improve.

  • Cross-sectional collaboration brings about a timely solution to the most challenging problem – we value diversity, and nurture the spirit of optimism, team work, resourcefulness, and perseverance.

  • We can do good and do well at the same time, and that volunteering promotes personal growth, empathy, and happiness. We gain as we share, we learn as we teach, we are strengthened as we lend support.
